Steph is the passionate founder and director of Adagio Performing Arts, dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where dancers can grow both artistically and personally.
Having started dancing at just three years old, Steph quickly developed a lifelong love for the art form. She trained in a variety of dance styles at local dance schools, where she completed numerous examinations and competitions and built the strong foundations that shaped her journey in dance.
Determined to turn her passion into a career, Steph went on to study dance at City College Norwich and later York St John University, where she gained professional training and teaching qualifications.
Steph is now a recognised teacher with ISTD and i-Path, bringing both technical expertise and a passion for teaching to every class she leads. She personally teaches all classes at Adagio Performing Arts, ensuring each student receives her guidance and encouragement.
Inspired by her love of dance and her local community, Steph founded Adagio Performing Arts to provide high-quality dance training in a supportive and inclusive environment. Her goal is to ensure that dance is accessible to everyone and that every student feels encouraged to discover their potential. Steph’s teaching philosophy focuses on building strong technique, creativity, confidence, and self-expression, while helping students develop discipline, teamwork, and a lifelong love of dance At Adagio Performing Arts, students benefit from: ✔ Professional dance training ✔ A supportive and encouraging learning environment ✔ Performance and competition opportunities ✔ Classes for all ages and skill levels
